Responsibilities Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital
featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an
average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center
with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced
cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and

Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a license
pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy
department. Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in
preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug
inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians function
in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and
state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can
legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
Qualifications Job Requirements: Education: High School graduate or
equivalent preferred. Experience: One (1) year experience
preferred. Technical Skills: Automation experience with knowledge
of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing
narcotic access, etc.) License/Certification: Current license as
Pharmacy Technician in State of Nevada, Certification by the
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the National Health
