key member of the team that focuses on operational excellence
within an assigned number of clinics. This position also provides
key guidance and coaching to its subordinate managers and staff.
Position Summary: Responsible for daily operations management and
supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal,
state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The
practice manager will maintain regulatory compliance and is
responsible for maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary
source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical
staff office and payers. Collaborates with internal and external
stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development,
finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities,
vendors, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective
and efficient practice operations. Practice manager will be the
primary practice liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue
cycle operations, volume and revenue generation to assure practice
budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum.
Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider
and employee recruitment and onboarding. Demonstrates service
excellence, conveys professionalism, and maintains appropriate
confidentiality at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was
formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops
and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care
clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also
provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS.

Education: - Bachelor’s Degree required. - In lieu of degree, 5-7
years healthcare experience with at least two (2) year
