Schedule: Monday - Friday (Days) Work Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate
Nurse Practitioner to join a busy outpatient neurology practice.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive follow-up care to
adult patients, manage chronic and acute conditions, and support
the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient-centered
services. This role focuses exclusively on in-office care with no
hospital rounds or new patient evaluations. The Nurse Practitioner
will perform detailed assessments, interpret diagnostic results,
prescribe appropriate treatments, and collaborate closely with
physicians and staff to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive physical examinations
and follow-up assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic
neurological and general medical conditions. Order, interpret, and
evaluate diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies and imaging.
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide patient education, counseling, and ongoing support for
disease management. Collaborate with physicians and
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, as
needed. Document all patient encounters using the electronic
medical record system (EclinicalWorks preferred). Utilize and
manage durable medical equipment (DME) when appropriate.
Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner License. Master's degree
in Nursing or a related field. National Nurse Practitioner
Certification. Experience working with electronic medical records
(EClinicalWorks preferred). Strong clinical knowledge of medical
procedures and treatments. Ability to provide care for patients
aged 21 and older (occasional cases of patients aged 18). Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills. Familiarity
with durable medical equipment (DME). Benefits: 401(k) with
