Center Technician (Level 1) to join our Las Vegas team. This role
will be responsible for executing foundational data center
operations with precision and reliability, supporting
infrastructure availability while building technical proficiency
across hardware, systems, and facilities disciplines. After the
successful completion of new hire training, the working hours/shift
for this position is Monday through Friday from 12AM - 8AM Pacific
time. What you will be doing: Operational Execution Execute
break/fix tickets, project cards, and decommission tasks following
established DCT procedures and work instructions Perform rack
installations following build guides including mounting equipment,
cable routing, and proper labeling standards Conduct inventory
audits and maintain accurate asset records in management systems
Respond to on-shift incidents under supervision, performing basic
troubleshooting and escalating appropriately Technical Foundations
Install base macOS following documented procedures Understand basic
networking concepts: IP addressing, subnetting, gateway
configuration, and connectivity testing Perform cable terminations
using appropriate hand tools Verify physical layer connectivity and
document installation work Quality & Safety Follow all safety
protocols and site-specific procedures Work with senior technicians
for quality control reviews Maintain organized work areas and
proper tool management Participate in team training and
knowledge-sharing sessions Physical demands and requirements: The
position operates in a data center environment and physical
requirements include but are not limited to: Must be able to safely
use a ladder Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Require
the use of hands to fingers Frequent sitting, standing, walking,
bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing Must be able
to distinguish different colors Require use of tools such as
screwdrivers What skills and experience you need to have: 0-2 years
in data center, IT infrastructure, or related technical field Basic
understanding of server hardware, networking equipment, and cabling
standards Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ticketing
systems Attention to detail and ability to follow technical
documentation Effective time management and ability to work both
independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible
schedules including nights, weekends, and on-call rotation What you
